The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher , you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
- Establish a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess pupil progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Encourage independence, confidence and a love of learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to achieve positive outcomes.
About You
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable teaching style.
- High expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement.
- A genuine passion for helping young children thrive.
