We are seeking a passionate and experienced Room Leader to join our welcoming nursery in Leeds (LS11) . This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic childcare professional who is committed to providing outstanding early years education and care, particularly within a baby room environment.

As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. You will lead and support a team of practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of care and learning are consistently maintained.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification or above
• Has experience leading a nursery room , ideally within a baby room setting
• Demonstrates a genuine passion for childcare and early years development
• Has a caring, nurturing, and patient approach
• Possesses strong organisational and communication skills
• Can effectively lead, motivate, and support a team
• Is committed to delivering high-quality care and learning experiences
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the baby room
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Support, mentor, and motivate room staff to achieve the highest standards
• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with nursery policies and procedures
• Contribute to the overall success and continuous improvement of the nursery
