Class 1 HGV Driver – WIGAN (WN5)
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work based in Wigan (Wn5) . This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable drivers seeking consistent weekday work with competitive pay and an easy workload.
Job Details
- Location: Wigann (WN5)
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Shift Patterns: AM & PM start times available
- Work Type: General haulage
- Drops: Average of 3 drops per shift
- Manual Handling: No handballing required
Pay Rates
- £16.40 per hour
- £18.38 per hour including holiday pay
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing a small number of drops per shift, ensuring deliveries are made safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for drivers who prefer straightforward routes and minimal physical work.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV driving experience preferred
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
