Job Title: Experienced Arborist Climber
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £34,000.00 - £40,000.00 (dependant on experience)
Working Hours: 07:00 to 16:30

We are a well-established tree management business based near Thame, Oxfordshire, looking for Experienced and Semi Skilled Arborists to join our growing team.

About the Role
We are looking for experienced climbers to:
- Carry out all aspects of tree surgery, including climbing, pruning, and sectional felling
- You will be running a team, ensuring the work site is set up and operations are running to a high standard of safety.
- A ‘can do’, positive and hard-working person with the desire to deliver arboricultural works to exacting standards and go the extra mile for our clients.
- Work safely and efficiently in line with industry standards
- Conduct site risk assessments and follow health & safety procedures
- To ensure all tools and vehicles are kept in the highest order, clean and serviceable at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete jobs on time
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
- Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
Job Title: Semiskilled Arborist
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £ 30,000.00
Working Hours: 07:00 to 16:30
About the Role
We are looking for S emi-Skilled Arborists:
- To work closely with our team of climbers, carry out ground-based duties such as grass cutting, strimming, clearance work with great opportunity for progression and training opportunities for the right person.
- A ‘can do’, positive and hard-working person with the desire to deliver arboricultural works to exacting standards and go the extra mile for our clients.
- Work safely and efficiently in line with industry standards
- Conduct site risk assessments and follow health & safety procedures
- To ensure all tools and vehicles are kept in the highest order, clean and serviceable at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete jobs on time
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment

Preferred Skills
Qualifications Required for Experienced Climbers:
- CS39 – Use a Chainsaw in a Tree
- CS38 – Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue
- CS31 – Tree Felling
- CS30 – Chainsaw and Cross Cutting
- Preferably: CSCS Card, MEWP, First Aid, Safe use of Woodchipper, Safe Use of Stump Grinder
- Proven experience in arboriculture / tree surgery
- Highly organised.
- Team Player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Reliable & Committed
- High attention to detail.
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Full UK Driving Licence
Fully qualified Climbers with at least 2-year minimum experience preferred.
Qualifications for Semi Skilled Arborists
- CS30 – Chainsaw and Cross Cutting
- CS38 – Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue
- Preferred: CSCS Card
- Highly organised.
- Team Player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Reliable & Committed
- High attention to detail
- Able to meet deadlines
- Full UK Driving Licence
