Location: First Bus Rochdale, 4 Corporation Road, OL11 4EU

Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 07:00-15:30

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour

About The Role

As an Engineering Stores Person , you'll help the Area Stores Manager run the depot stores smoothly. Your work will support the engineering team and help keep things running well for our customers.

You'll deal with day-to-day problems in the stores and let your manager know about any important issues or concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Area Stores Manager to ensure optimum management of material and fuel stocks, and the accurate and timely processing of warranty claims
• You'll be responsible for ensuring that vehicle parts and fuel are available to meet the depot's operational needs
• You'll stay informed of any changes to the fleet and adjust stock levels accordingly
• This includes following procedures for bulk fuel deliveries and accurately reconciling fuel stocks
• Ensure stores areas are kept clean and tidy, and stock is stored in a secure, safe, and efficient manner
• Support the Area Stores Manager to monitor and manage stock usage
• Maintain relevant business systems to accurately records all aspects of stock management

About You

• Some commercial vehicle parts advisory/stock management experience would be great, however we can provide training where required
• A clean UK driving licence would be beneficial for this role, though not essential
• The ability to work independently when required and to help support a wider team
