Inclusion Learning Support Assistant

JESS Arabian Ranches Primary School is seeking an Inclusion Learning Support Assistant for August 2026. 

The role will briefly include:

• participating in planning, assessment, supporting individual or small groups of students in their teaching and learning, evaluation and record keeping

• helping individual or small groups of students to learn effectively to support learning

• providing observational feedback to Oasis Team, class teacher and/or year group leader

• have a good rapport with children between ages 4-11 years

• assisting class teachers in the development and delivery of provision

• to cover for inclusion teachers in their absence, as required

• attend relevant CPD 

• carrying out other duties relevant to the role, to include school trips 

The successful applicants will:

• hold as a minimum a High School Diploma. A CACHE Level 3 qualification or equivalent would be desirable.

• have relevant and recent school-based SEN experience within the classroom.

• have a good rapport with students

• have high expectations of students' attainment and behaviour 

• work effectively as part of a team

• be comfortable taking direction from class teacher(s) and senior staff

• upholds safeguarding and child protection

• be keen, self-motivated and flexible

• be enthusiastic and enjoy contact with children

• encourage individual development and progress
