Storytelling & Communications Volunteer

Role Overview

Living Well Smokefree is seeking motivated and community-focused volunteers to support the collection and recording of client feedback relating to its stop smoking services across North Yorkshire. This fully remote opportunity offers flexibility and the chance to contribute to a service that helps individuals achieve positive health outcomes. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, and we are committed to creating an inclusive, accessible and supportive volunteering environment. This flexible role is completely remote.

Role Purpose

As a Story Telling & Communications Volunteer, you will help with over the phone collection, collation and transcription of reviews for the Living Well Smokefree service. Your contribution will support our work to use such reviews to promote, improve and strengthen our service across North Yorkshire

Key Activities

Volunteers may choose to support in a range of ways, including:

  • Calling clients who have quit smoking with us to gather a review of the service
  • Condense and transcribe the review into a couple of sentences
  • Recording the review onto an Excel spreadsheet using MS Excel.

This is a varied role and your level of involvement is entirely flexible.

Full training and ongoing support are provided.
