Part-time Year 2 Teacher | October 2025 Start, Surrey

We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a successful and welcoming primary school in Surrey. This permanent position is available full-time or part-time (3 days per week) and can start after October half-term . Experienced teachers with QTS and a strong understanding of Key Stage 1 are encouraged to apply.

• Position: Year 2 Class Teacher

• Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time (2 days)
• Salary: MPS/UPS Pay Scale

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a delightful Year 2 class, delivering engaging, structured, and play-based learning experiences in reading, writing, maths, and wider curriculum areas
• Support the social, emotional, and academic growth of every child in your care
• Work collaboratively with a supportive teaching team to plan and deliver high-quality lessons
• Maintain effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and support the school’s vision and ethos

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and child development
• Experience teaching in a KS1 setting is desirable
• Strong planning, assessment, and classroom management skills
• Up-to-date enhanced DBS check and relevant references
