Finance & Admin Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and organised Finance & Admin Assistant to support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain sales and purchase ledgers, including processing purchase orders (POs)
- Reconcile bank accounts and assist with maintaining accurate financial records
- Process invoices and manage general accounts administration
- Chase outstanding customer balances and assist with credit control activities
- Assist with filing, document management, and office administration
- Provide reception and front-of-house support when required, including answering calls and greeting visitors
- Support the wider team with general administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or administrative role
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage workload and work independently
- UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Experience with bookkeeping or accounting systems
- Experience in a reception or customer-facing environment
Hours & Salary
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible working hours available, including school-hours flexibility
- Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
