Are you a dedicated KS1 Teacher looking for a fixed-term teaching opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and adaptable KS1 Teacher to provide block cover at a welcoming primary school in Chelmsford . This full-time, fixed-term position offers the opportunity to join a supportive school community and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

The Role

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring continuity of learning throughout the duration of the placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

Requirements

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
✅ Strong classroom management skills
✅ Excellent communication and organisational abilities
✅ A commitment to raising pupil attainment and progress
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
