Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
Full-Time | Multiple Roles | September 2026 Start

KPi Education are currently working alongside several primary schools across Sheffield and Rotherham to recruit Graduate Primary Teaching Assistants for a long-term, full-time roles starting in September 2026. These opportunities are ideal for graduates passionate about education and eager to gain invaluable school-based experience before progressing into teacher training or a wider career within education. Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant - The Role As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced class teachers to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Your responsibilities may include: * Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Delivering targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
* Providing classroom support during lessons and activities
* Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and learning resources
* Supporting children with additional learning needs where required This is a highly rewarding role where you will quickly become an important part of school life and make a genuine impact on pupils' academic progress and personal development. Who We're Looking For We are particularly keen to hear from graduates who have achieved a 2:1 degree or above in: * Core Subjects (English, Maths or Science)
* Psychology
* Education and Early Years Studies
* Other related academic subjects Successful candidates will demonstrate: * A genuine passion for working with children
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
* A desire to pursue a career within education Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
