Pay: £110-£130 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join welcoming schools in Wakefield WF3 . We would like to hear from a supportive and reliable individual who can assist teachers with classroom activities, encourage pupil participation, and help create a positive learning environment.

The Teaching Assistant (TA) will have a valuable opportunity to support students' academic, social, and emotional development while gaining hands-on experience within education.

Responsibilities of TA:

* Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities
* Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives
* Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and active participation in lessons
* Assist with preparing learning materials and maintaining classroom organisation
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Patient, flexible, and proactive approach to classroom support
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
