What you will do:

* Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Social Workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery within the Early Help framework.
* Oversee assessment and intervention processes to ensure families receive timely and effective support.
* Provide professional guidance, supervision, and support to team members.
* Collaborate with external agencies and key stakeholders to coordinate services and develop comprehensive support plans.
* Monitor and evaluate team performance against agreed objectives and performance standards.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement appropriate strategies to enhance service delivery.
* Manage team resources effectively to ensure operational priorities and performance targets are achieved.
* Provide expert social work advice and guidance to practitioners when managing complex situations.
* Foster a supportive, collaborative, and empowering environment where team members can develop professionally.
* Promote effective early intervention and family-focused practice throughout the service.

Essential requirements:

* Relevant Social Work qualification.
* Current Social Work England registration.
* Substantial post-qualification Social Work experience.
* Proven experience in a leadership or management role within social care.
* Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing Social Workers.
* Knowledge and understanding of Early Help and family support services.
* Strong understanding of assessment and intervention processes.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work effectively with external agencies and multidisciplinary partners.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
