Role information:
– Our client has been a leader in advanced system integration for decades; optimising efficiency & delivering performance on a massive scale. But with continuous innovation at the heart of their business
– A Project Manager is required to manage a series of projects to deliver upgrades/modifications to existing Transmission substation protection and control systems.

Qualifications/Experience Required:
– Experience and knowledge working to NEC3/4 contracts.
– Management role responsible for various projects, could be from the range of 50K to 2M, from inception through to delivery within demanding timescales
– Ensuring that the project is delivered to timescale, specification, budget and customer satisfaction.
– Overall financial responsibility for the projects
– Demonstrable project management experience within an engineering industry, preferably Power Transmission industry or similar regulated background
– Demonstrable experience planning and scheduling work activities using Microsoft Project.
– Must be able to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders.
– Must be commercially astute & be able to identify early commercial and technical risks/issues and find resolutions.
– Must have demonstrable track record of achieving project timescales, margins, customer satisfaction and quality.
– Experience of subcontractor management
– Strong leadership skills, including team management experience.
