InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a permanant CNC Setter Operator with Turning or Milling experience to join a manufactoring company in Aston.
The duties of the CNC Setter operator will include:
* Producing a high quality product by Setting and Operating CNC milling machines ensuring quality workmanship at all times
* Millng and turning * Maintaining and improving productivity where possible, work in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met * Maintaining set-up sheets as required and in line with company procedure * Ensuring work area kept clean and tidy at all times by keeping machine and all associated tools and equipment in a clean and tidy manner * Working within a safe environment by ensuring all company procedures and Health & Safety legislation is followed at all times. The ideal CNC Setter Operator will have: * At least 3 years' experience in CNC setting and operating plus general engineering work
* Experience of milling, turning or both * Some knowledge of programming reading and an understanding of drawings & models * The ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously The hours of work for the CNC Setter Operator will be 8 hours per day - these hours are flexible The salary for the CNC Setter Opeator will be between £35,000 - £46,000 per annum depending on experience, the hourly rate equates to between £17,.00 and £22.00
