Optical Practice Manager

Hours: Full Time | 37.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: No Sundays
We’re working with a respected independent optical business looking for an ambitious, proactive and commercially driven Store Manager to lead its Sheffield practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants more than just the day-to-day running of a store. Our client is looking for a real go-getter who can take ownership, bring fresh ideas and actively drive the business forward.
You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions, motivate your team and identify opportunities to attract new patients, increase footfall and grow the customer base. Whether that’s building local relationships, organising promotional activity or getting out into the community, you’ll be encouraged to take the initiative and make things happen.
Important Requirement:
You must have a minimum of 12 months’ experience working within optics. Applications without this will not be considered.

What we are looking for:
- Ideally previous optical management experience with a strong understanding of KPIs and commercial performance
- A proactive, results-driven attitude with the confidence to take initiative
- A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
- Someone who can identify opportunities to increase sales, attract new patients and grow the business
- A hands-on manager who’s happy to get involved in local marketing and community outreach
- Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- A passion for delivering excellent patient care alongside commercial success
