We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Thanet Vets and we can offer you something truly unique in return.
The role will involve consulting and operating duties shared with 6 other vets. We are fortunate enough to have a fantastic and knowledgeable team.
We are surrounded by sandy beaches, with close links to ferries and the train for various destinations across Europe. We are also within reasonable distance to London for city visits. We are active within our community and as such have built a loyal client base.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care while leading and supporting those around you.
Working Pattern
- Opening hours of 8:00 am and 7:00 pm
- 1:4 Saturday mornings
- No OOH

You are a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering outstanding patient and client care. You’ll bring:
- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
- Professionalism, reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
