Key Responsibilities of the Behaviour Mentor :- Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to students struggling with behavioural, emotional, or social challenges
- Facilitate engaging group workshops and activities to develop students' life skills, conflict resolution strategies, and positive coping mechanisms
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create and implement tailored intervention plans
- Maintain detailed case notes, monitor student progress, and provide regular feedback to the client
- Act as a positive role model and mentor, inspiring students to reach their full potential
- Contribute to the overall wellbeing and personal development of the students in your care
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a mentoring, counselling, or youth work role
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, behaviour, and emotional needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with students and their families
- Creativity and adaptability in designing and delivering engaging, age-appropriate programmes
- Proficient in data management and record-keeping to track student progress and impact
