After School Nanny

A lovely opportunity for an experienced and nurturing After School Nanny to join a warm family in Fulham, supporting with the care of a toddler and newborn within a relaxed and welcoming household.

Job Summary:
This is a fantastic role for a proactive and engaging nanny who enjoys working with both babies and toddlers. The family are seeking someone caring, energetic, and hands-on who will become a valued part of their daily routine.

The primary focus will be caring for the family's 3 year old child while also providing support to the mother with the newborn. As the mother returns to work in the future, the role will naturally evolve into a more sole-charge position.

Their 3 year old is a bright and active little boy who loves football, dinosaurs, puzzles, trips to the park, and reading books. The family are looking for a nanny who will actively engage with his interests, encourage his development, and create fun and stimulating activities around his passions.

The family employ a cleaner twice per month, so the role will involve helping to keep the children's areas organised and running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

The successful candidate will support with childcare and child-related household duties, ensuring both children are happy, engaged, and well cared for throughout the afternoon and early evening.

The role will involve assisting with the newborn's routine, supporting the toddler's development through play and activities, preparing simple healthy meals, and helping maintain a tidy and organised environment for the children.

This position would suit a nanny who genuinely enjoys engaging with young children, is happy to assist where needed, and can confidently support a busy family household.

Job specification:
• Assisting with the care of the newborn, including bathing, settling for naps, and walks in the stroller
• Supporting the mother with day-to-day childcare routines
• Nursery collection when required (walking distance from the family home)
• Engaging the toddler in age-appropriate activities, play, and learning opportunities
• Playing, entertaining, and encouraging development through interactive activities
• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the mother and toddler
• Feeding the toddler after nursery
• Keeping children's bedrooms, play areas, and belongings neat and organized
• Tidying toys and children's areas after use
• Supporting the smooth running of the household where required

Candidate specification:
• Proven experience caring for both babies and toddlers
• Experience working with multiple children within a private household
• Warm, nurturing, and engaging approach to childcare
• Energetic and able to keep up with an active toddler
• Enjoys cooking simple, healthy family meals
• Proactive with a positive and flexible attitude
• Happy to support wherever needed within the family environment
• Confident supporting children's development and routines
• Greek-speaking would be a bonus, although not essential
• Seeking a long-term role with a lovely family
