The Role: The Student Services Project Manager will play a key role in delivering strategic and operational enhancements across Student Services at the University of Portsmouth. Working closely with the Student Services Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the postholder will manage a diverse range of projects that enhance student experience, support service transformation, and ensure alignment with institutional priorities. The role will support the implementation of the Student Services Strategy through effective project coordination, service improvement activity, stakeholder engagement and the development of meaningful performance and impact measures.

The working pattern for this post is full-time, five days per week. In exceptional circumstances, we may be able to consider a 0.8 FTE appointment; however, this would still need to be worked over five days.

The post holder is expected to work on campus for 60% of the working week, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays being essential on-campus days. The remaining time may be worked remotely. Further flexibility regarding working arrangements may be possible depending on individual requirements, such as flexibility around school pick-up arrangements.

Salary Information: New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe.
