The Role Leading and supporting the nursery provision within a primary school
Taking responsibility for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
Supporting children across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Creating a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Planning activities around children's individual needs, interests and stages of development
Supporting children's communication, language, physical, social and emotional development
Monitoring and assessing children's progress and development
Working closely with other members of the EYFS and wider school team
Supporting children with SEND and additional needs
Building strong and positive relationships with children, parents and staff
Ensuring children are safe, happy and engaged throughout the day
Taking a lead role within the nursery and providing guidance and support to other staff where required
Contributing to the wider life of the school and working collaboratively with the leadership team
About You Ideally, you will have: A minimum HLTA qualification
Previous experience working within an EYFS, nursery or primary school setting
Experience of leading, planning or taking responsibility for a nursery or early years provision
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
A genuine passion for supporting young children and helping them reach their full potential
A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach
Strong organisation and planning skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The confidence to take responsibility for a classroom or nursery provision
Experience supporting children with SEND would be beneficial
