We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school near Godalming, Surrey. Location: Near Godalming, Surrey
Pay: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour
Contract: Long-term with the opportunity to secure a permanent position

Working Hours

• Monday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
• Tuesday to Thursday: 8:30am - 4:15pm
• Friday: 8:30am - 3:45pm

As an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll support students with complex mental health needs and additional learning needs, helping them access education in a safe, structured and encouraging environment.

Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will:

• Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage their confidence and independence.
• Support learning both in the classroom and through individual activities.
• Help students regulate their emotions and engage positively throughout the school day.
• Assist with behaviour support and promote a calm, inclusive learning environment.
• Celebrate each student's progress, no matter how big or small.

No formal teaching qualifications are required-full support and ongoing training will be provided.

Experience in care, residential support, youth work, sports coaching, childcare, mental health support or education is beneficial but not essential.
