Data Analytics Manager

As a Data Analytics Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping data-driven decisions that enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency. You’ll be part of our dynamic Analytics and Insights team, working closely with stakeholders across the business to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive measurable outcomes. Success in this role means delivering accurate, timely, and impactful analysis that informs strategic and operational decisions, while fostering a culture of data literacy across the organisation.

As a key member of the team, you’ll help define and implement analytics strategies that support Heathrow’s vision of being a world-class airport. You’ll collaborate with colleagues in operations, finance, and customer experience to ensure data solutions are aligned with business priorities and deliver tangible value.

• Lead the design and delivery of advanced analytics solutions to support business objectives and improve decision-making.
• Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and predictive models to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analytics purposes.
• Champion best practices in data governance, analytics methodologies, and visualisation standards across the organisation.
• Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

• Proven experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with a track record of delivering impactful insights.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics or visualisation tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of data governance and quality principles.
• Effective communication and influencing skills at all organisational levels.

Ideally, you'll also have the following

• Experience with predictive modelling and machine learning techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Background in aviation, transport, or large-scale operational environments.
