Carlingford Lodge Care Home is situated in the beautiful port town of Warrenpoint, located at the head of Carlingford Lough, just five miles south from the city of Newry. It provides nursing care for 58 residents over 3 Units: General Nursing, Dementia Nursing and a General Residential. You will pride yourself on providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported. - Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life.
- Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
- Assist with moving and handling residents using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
- Follow care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and homely environment for residents.

- Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
