Workshop Assistant

Job description

Carrying out all general workshop duties as required. Adhere to all Health & Safety responsibilities. Site fitting when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workshop floor.
• Performing basic manual tasks such as moving and setting up tools and materials.
• Ensuring safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Cutting & cleaning down steel.
• These responsibilities are essential for the smooth operation of a workshop and contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of the work environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential as full training can be given.
• CSR (Construction Skills Register) Card essential or willing to obtain one.
• Must have own transport to make own way to employers premises.
