- Deliver care and interventions as directed by the Clinical Lead and Health Visitor within the Inclusion Health Team
- Work collaboratively with 0-19 services and multi-agency partners across Surrey
- Engage children, young people and families in a range of community settings, including homes, schools, refuges, hostels and Traveller sites
- Build trusting relationships with marginalised groups, including asylum seekers, refugees, homeless families, and GRT communities, promoting health and wellbeing
- Support delivery of the Healthy Child Programme (0-19), including health promotion and targeted interventions
- Identify unmet health needs through assessment, providing support and referring to specialist services where required
- Improve access to and uptake of childhood immunisations (following relevant training)
- Contribute to safeguarding processes, including attendance at child protection meetings and following local procedures
- Support service development through audits, research activity and partnership working with advocacy services
- Supervise junior staff, contribute to appraisals, and support student learning
- Maintain effective communication with families, colleagues and partner agencies
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and deliver inclusive, accessible care to diverse communities

- Registered Nurse (RN1) with current NMC registration
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Experience working within teams and multi-disciplinary environments
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and adapt to changing demands
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to build trust and engage effectively with children, young people, families and marginalised communities, including GRT groups
- Commitment to reducing health inequalities and delivering culturally sensitive care
- Experience undertaking assessments and providing targeted support, including in challenging situations
- Understanding of the Healthy Child Programme and public health priorities
- Knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance and audit processes
- Competent IT skills
- Experience working with children, young people and families in community settings
- Mentorship or supervisory experience
- Immunisation and/or sexual health experience or training
- Safeguarding training and multi-agency working experience
- Understanding of cultural diversity within GRT communities
