School Administrator / Front of House

Philosophy Education are working with a specialist SEND boys school in Guildford who are looking for an experienced Administrator / Front of House professional to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized and personable administrator who enjoys working in a busy school environment and is confident acting as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
The roleAs the School Administrator / Front of House, you will:
Manage the school reception and provide a warm, professional welcome to visitors.
Answer telephone calls and respond to emails and general enquiries.
Maintain accurate pupil records and administrative systems.
Use Arbor MIS to manage and update pupil information and attendance records.
Support the school with general administrative duties.
Assist with attendance and parent communications.
Prepare letters, documents and reports.
Liaise with parents, carers, external professionals and agencies.
Support the Headteacher and wider school team.
Ensure visitors follow the school's safeguarding and signing-in procedures.
The school is looking for someone who has:
Previous experience working in school administration or front of house .
Recent experience using Arbor MIS .
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A friendly, professional and approachable manner.
Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Experience working within a SEND or specialist school is desirable.
A good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
