The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing outstanding teaching practices across the Mathematics department and wider school community.

This role is ideal for an experienced Maths Teacher or current middle leader seeking to advance into a whole-school teaching and learning leadership position. As Lead Practitioner of Maths , you will:

• Support the Head of Department in driving continuous improvement across Maths teaching and learning.

• Coach and mentor staff to deliver high-quality lessons.

• Model outstanding classroom practice and share innovative strategies.

• Contribute to whole-school CPD and staff development initiatives.

• Collaborate with SLT to enhance curriculum design and student progress.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Maths Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent).
• Proven record of delivering outstanding outcomes across KS3–KS5.
• Evidence of coaching, mentoring, or supporting colleagues’ professional growth.
• Excellent knowledge of curriculum development and pedagogy.
• Inspirational communicator with a passion for Mathematics education.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
