Function Description To thrive as our Chief Cook, you need a strong background in maritime galley operations and a passion for keeping the crew well-fed. Here is what you need to bring onboard: • Manage daily galley operations, planning nutritious menus and ordering fresh provisions within the victualling budget. • Prepare hot and cold meals for the entire crew, accommodating dietary needs and special requests while underway. • Maintain strict USPH and HACCP hygiene standards throughout the galley, storerooms, and mess rooms. • Manage inventory, handle stores loading in port, and ensure proper stock rotation in the cold rooms. • Take advantage of onboard training programs to advance your culinary career and leadership skills at sea.
