Science ECT - Altrincham, Greater Manchester
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an inquisitive, energetic and committed Science ECT to join a well-regarded grammar school in Altrincham . This full-time, permanent role begins January 2026 , ideal for an Early Career Teacher looking for high academic standards, strong behaviour and outstanding departmental support.
Job Overview
You will teach Science across KS3–KS4, delivering theory and practical lessons that develop scientific understanding, experimental skill and enquiry-based learning. The school is seeking an ECT who enjoys hands-on investigation, clear explanation of concepts and supporting students to excel in science.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to STEM enrichment, competitions, revision workshops and ECT training pathways.
