Management Accountant
£35k - £40k per annumFull-time
Please note: Applicants without ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualifications need not apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in producing accounts with analysis against various scenarios, including P&L, B/S, cashflow and working capital
- Produce and post journals including accruals and prepayments
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and posting of corrections where necessary
- Liaise with budget owners to understand and challenge variances to plan accordingly
- Responsible for statutory returns, including VAT and ONS submissions
- Assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts, audit deliverables and disclosure notes for the annual audit
- Ad-hoc duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Formal accountancy qualification: ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Experience in a previous management accountant role
- Take ownership of the role - rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in
- Experience and full understanding of prepayments
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly proficient with Excel
- Sage Line 50 experience is desirable
