Tax Trainee – Practice
East Sussex | Full-Time | Training Role | ATT/CTA Support
An established and forward-thinking accountancy firm in East Sussex is looking for a Tax Trainee to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is either early in their accounting journey or seeking a focused career in tax.
This role would suit a graduate, AAT qualified candidate, or someone with a small amount of tax or finance experience – but most importantly, you’ll bring a genuine interest in pursuing a career in tax .

Key Duties Will Include:
Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
Conducting research into tax legislation and HMRC guidance
Liaising with clients and HMRC under supervision
Supporting senior members of the tax team on advisory projects
Ideal Candidate:
A strong interest in developing a career in tax
Previous experience in practice or finance (desirable, not essential)
Good communication and analytical skills
Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn
