School Social Worker ( Sharjah Campus)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our educational team. The successful candidate will act as a vital link between the home, school, and community, providing essential support to students to ensure their academic success and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Support: Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.

• Crisis Intervention: Manage and respond to immediate crisis situations, providing support and stabilization for students and staff.

• Family Liaison: Partner with parents and guardians to address concerns affecting student performance and facilitate access to community resources.

• Advocacy: Represent the best interests of the student within the school environment and during multidisciplinary team meetings (such as IEP or 504 plan meetings).

• Case Management: Maintain accurate, confidential records of student progress and coordinate with external healthcare providers or social service agencies.

• Program Development: Implement school-wide initiatives related to mental health awareness, anti-bullying, and social-emotional learning (SEL).

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) from an accredited institution.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) is highly preferred and may be required for senior-level positions.

Certifications & Skills

• Relevant state or regional licensure/certification as a School Social Worker.

• Strong understanding of child development, family systems, and behavioral health.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional and empathetic tone with diverse populations.

• Proficiency in digital record-keeping and case management software.
