Salary £25,949 - £25,989, Per annum | Permanent, Part Time, 21.33 hours per week | Lancaster | Pro Rata

Rota details:  As a night senior you will work two nights on, then four nights off, 21:30 - 08:30. You are expected to oversee a team of three night staff members and ensure the shift runs smoothly, caring for up to 46 residents and service users.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will need to hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care and be willing to complete level 3. In addition, you will have experience leading, coaching and motivating a team to deliver high quality care.

Our committed team provides care to more than 1,000 adults across Lancashire. It runs 16 Care Homes and 13 Day Centres where the team provides support for older people, adults living with dementia and their families.

Local Government Reorganisation

The Government has confirmed that local government across Lancashire will be reorganised, with the current 15 councils being replaced by four new unitary councils covering North, South, East and West Lancashire from April 2028.

If you are successful in your application, you will initially join Lancashire County Council. However, as part of the planned transition, your employment will transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028, subject to the implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation.
