Description: Citi is seeking a Legal Counsel at the Vice President level to join its Global Legal Commodities Team. The successful candidate will provide legal support, advice, and guidance to the Commodities Business in EMEA, focusing on legal and regulatory risks associated with financial derivatives, physical commodity financing, and trading activities across energy, metals, and agricultural products. Responsibilities include negotiating and drafting trading contracts (ISDA, EFETs), participating in strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as MiFID2 and CBAM.
Eligibility: Applicants must possess a law degree from a UK or English-speaking university and a valid Bar license. Required experience includes drafting and negotiating derivatives documentation and commodity trading documents, preferably within a regulated in-house environment or a US bank.
