Our Client is keen to secure a Super organised Team Player who comes with a strong grasp of all things Tech together with a natural ability to liaise well with colleagues, clients alike.

You’ll have proven experience hosting and coordinating virtual training events or sessions via Zoom or MS Teams. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident speaking publicly and hosting online events for a large audience.

The Role

The Training Facilitator supports the delivery of training and accreditation programmes to those working in Scotland’s private rented sector, ensuring the smooth, professional facilitation of online training sessions, consistent presentation formatting, and effective coordination with trainers and stakeholders. The successful person is also responsible for post-session administration and data handling, supporting landlords, letting agents, and sector professionals in meeting regulatory and professional development requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Session Facilitation & Technical Support

• Host and moderate live online training sessions for landlords, letting agents, and sector professionals, using platforms such as Zoom or MS Teams.
• Manage the technical running of each session, including opening and closing, participant management, and resolving any issues that arise.
• Manage interactive features such as polls, Q&A, and breakout rooms to support participant engagement.

Presentation Material Management

• Format PowerPoint presentations to meet Company branding and accessibility standards, ensuring consistent, professional delivery across all sessions.
• Liaise with trainers in advance to receive presentation content and prepare materials for live sessions.
• Review each deck for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, ensuring all text, graphics, and charts are correct, error-free, and compliant with organisational style guidelines before the event.

Trainer & Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for trainers, ensuring they have the information and support needed to deliver high-quality sessions.
• Maintain the facilitation schedule.
• Liaise with internal teams and external trainers on logistics, expectations, and session preparation.

Post-Session Administration

• Process attendance data, feedback forms, and evaluation results for reporting and quality assurance.
• Distribute follow-up communications, including access to session resources and certificates where applicable.
• Maintain accurate training records in line with internal processes and compliance requirements.

Support for Training & Accreditation Function

• Contribute to the smooth running of broader training and accreditation programmes for the private rented sector.
• Support the team in developing and improving operational workflows and participant experience.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks, internal reporting, and coordination of sector-specific training initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience hosting and coordinating virtual training events or sessions via Zoom or MS Teams.
• Strong grasp of technology
• Proficient in PowerPoint, with strong formatting, branding, and layout skills, and a keen eye for design and content accuracy.
• Proficient in other MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident speaking publicly and hosting online events for a large audience.
• Experienced in handling pre- and post-event data, using tools such as Excel and LMS platforms.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines efficiently.
• Strong prioritisation and time-management skills under a busy workload.
• Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a flexible and adaptable approach.

Desirable

• Knowledge or experience of Scotland’s private rented sector or regulated training environments.
• Familiarity with landlord registration, letting agent regulation, or CPD requirements.
• Understanding of accessibility and digital inclusion in session delivery.

This is a full-time role, with flexibility required to support sessions and events across varied schedules. Occasional in-person team meetings or sector events may be required.
