The Role
As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality stainless steel and aluminium welds while working closely with engineers and designers to ensure products are manufactured to exact specifications.
Duties will include:
- Performing high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium components.
- Fabricating, assembling and finishing precision-engineered products.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Working alongside designers and engineers to ensure accurate production.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and safety.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience producing high-quality TIG welds on stainless steel and aluminium.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Fabrication, assembly and finishing experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
Experience within any of the following would be advantageous:
- Stainless steel and aluminium fabrication.
- Vacuum systems.
- Aerospace, pharmaceutical, scientific or precision engineering industries.
