Salary: PhP95,000–PhP150,000 per month, depending on experience

A well-established international accountancy practice supporting individuals, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses with a range of accounting, tax, and business advisory services.
The business works closely with clients across the UK and is known for providing a personal, high-quality service while building long-term client relationships.
They are now looking for an experienced  ACCA Senior Accountant based in the Philippines to support their UK practice and take ownership of a varied client portfolio.

The Role
This is a senior, client-facing accounting position suited to someone with strong UK accounting practice experience who can work independently and manage client work from start to finish.
You’ll be responsible for preparing and reviewing accounts and tax work, supporting clients directly, and providing guidance to junior team members.
This is a great opportunity for an ACCA-qualified accountant in the Philippines looking to work fully remotely with UK clients and gain further international practice experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of UK clients and act as a key point of contact
• Prepare and review year-end accounts and financial statements
• Prepare and review UK corporation tax and personal tax returns
• Prepare and review VAT returns
• Review bookkeeping and accounting records
• Review junior accountants’ work and provide guidance and feedback
• Respond to client queries and provide day-to-day accounting support
• Liaise with UK clients and relevant authorities where required
• Identify tax planning and advisory opportunities
• Support new client onboarding and client accounting processes
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports where required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
• Work with cloud accounting software and contribute to process improvements

About You
We’re looking for an experienced accountant who is confident working independently, enjoys client interaction, and has a strong understanding of UK accounting and tax requirements.
Ideally, you will have:

• ACCA qualified status or equivalent professional qualification
• Strong experience working within a UK accountancy practice or supporting UK clients
• Ideally 3+ years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Experience managing your own client portfolio
• Strong knowledge of UK accounts, corporation tax, VAT, and personal tax
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior accountants
• Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good commercial awareness and a proactive approach
• Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, or similar
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Comfortable working with international clients and UK-based teams
• Able to work effectively in a fully remote environment
