Menswear Product Developer - Established Fashion Business

People Marketing's client, a well-established fashion business in the heart of Manchester, is looking for a product developer to work across a mix of customer developments and own-brand projects – championing innovation and building strong relationships with customers, brand owners, buyers and manufacturers internationally.
This is an in-house role that requires 5 days on-site in Manchester.
Menswear Product Developer - The Role:
- Work with Buyers and Brand Owners to take and develop briefs.
- Work with Design and tech teams to achieve the most commercial, on-trend ranges.
- Attend fits and give supplier feedback
Menswear Product Developer - The Person:
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent technical knowledge and confident in building detailed tech packs
- A good understanding of various product types and fabric bases, from denim to sportswear.
- Understanding of garment manufacturing and construction, and the ability to advise on the best commercial manufacturing processes.
- Excellent CAD and IT skills
- Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong critical path management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- A keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Permanent right to work in the UK.
- Experience within men's sportswear or streetwear is a plus.
