Salaried GP

Job summary
We are looking for a salaried GP, preferably with a specialist interest that they would like to develop and that we could continue to help you develop, to become an integral part of our team.

We are looking to cover 4 sessions (Mondays and Tuesdays), with additional GP on site on Tuesday doing admin work and a minor surgery clinic.

We have a tight knit team that work well together and are excited for you to come on board with your own ideas that can contribute to better our care for our patients.

Main duties of the job

• Mix of telephone and face to face consults, handful of queries outside of clinic hours, rarely there may be a home visit to attend but this is only under extenuating circumstances.
• Handling labs and medication requests - these are usually easily cleared the same day.
• Referrals, liaising with other professionals such as via advice and guidance.
• No docman - our administrative task will appropriately streamline any actions that come out of clinical letters, saving you time.
• Engaging in QOF and meeting clinical governance targets.
• Preference for clinicians who wish to take on clinical roles with the practice.

Join a well-respected GP practice located approximately 2 miles from the Wolverhampton city centre. The Practice aims to offer high quality health services to all its patients and a friendly working environment for all its staff. The Practice are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic GP to join our friendly and close-knit team. Very manageable workload with patient list size of around 3500.

Qualifications
Essential

• GMC full registration. NHS performers list as a General Practitioner. Clear DBS (any questions, please get in touch).

Desirable

• Special interests - we would like to support you in your current special interests or try to work with you in developing additional interests, least by providing a clinical room for you to carry out any specialist clinical work.
