SEND Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary School GAINSBOROUGH
Location: Gainsborough
Pay: £105-£110 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Long-term with the opportunity to become permanent
Aspire People is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of our welcoming partner primary schools in Gainsborough. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within a mainstream primary school setting.
The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
* Support small groups and individuals both inside and outside the classroom.
* Help pupils access learning and reach their full potential.
* Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to deliver tailored support.
* Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
We're Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates with a variety of backgrounds, including:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or SEND Teaching Assistant.
* Care workers, support workers, or those with experience supporting vulnerable children or young adults.
* Recent graduates considering a career in education.
* Candidates who have completed a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Anyone with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
