HGV Class 1 - Amesbury
We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 driver's for AD-HOC work at our busy chilled distribution site based in Amesbury (Wiltshire). The role consists of refrigerated multi drop or trunking deliveries . Ideal for drivers looking to earn some extra money in their free time. Immediate starts for successful candidates.
Shift available:
Weekend shifts – choose any shift between Thursday and Monday.
- AM or PM start
Day pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
- Saturday £19.46
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95
Nights pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
- Saturday £21.92
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
What we are looking for:
- In date DIGI and CPC card
- Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
- Willing to work weekends.
- Motivated and open to learn new skills.
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
- Minimum of 6 months Class one experience required
- No more than 3 points on your licence
Your role:
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicles checks.
- Refuelling vehicles.
- The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
