Sous Chef – Daytime Bistro Café

We are looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our friendly team in a busy daytime bistro café in the heart of the Ribble Valley.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef who enjoys working with fresh, quality ingredients in a fast-paced yet rewarding environment. With daytime-only hours, this role offers a fantastic work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes.
Maintain excellent food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, HACCP, and health and safety regulations.
Take responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining high standards.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or an experienced Chef de Partie ready to step up.
Strong knowledge of fresh food preparation and kitchen operations.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A positive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure.
Food Safety and Hygiene certification is desirable.
A genuine passion for producing exceptional food
