We are seeking an experienced and creative Arts Teacher with a strong focus on Media and Music to join our committed and collaborative team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a practitioner who is passionate about creative education and who can inspire young people through engaging, practical and meaningful learning experiences across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including nationally recognised qualifications such as GCSEs, BTECs and other accredited pathways.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Design and deliver highquality creative arts provision with a particular emphasis on Media and Music
- Teach across KS3, KS4 and KS5, adapting learning to meet a wide range of needs
- Deliver and support national accreditation routes, including GCSE, BTEC and equivalent qualifications
- Plan innovative, engaging lessons that build pupils’ skills, confidence and creativity
- Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform next steps
- Create a calm, inclusive and aspirational learning environment
- Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff and senior leaders
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the creative arts
The Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience in teaching Creative Arts, Media and/or Music
- Good working knowledge of GCSE, BTEC and other accredited programmes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
