Transport Operator

- We are hiring for a Traffic Operator to join our busy transport team in Stowmarket! This is a great ongoing temp opportunity with a global supply chain. Responsibilities
- Dispatching and debriefing drivers
- Paperwork housekeeping
- Helping to resolve issues and disputes, including driver queries
- Executing the day plan
- Attention to detail
- Time management
- Great team player
- Confident working alone
- Transport knowledge desirable
- Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
Previous transport planning or transport admin experience is preferable but not essential.
Full training is provided. Shift Details:
Monday to Friday
6AM-3PM
PAYE - £13.33 per hour
Opportunity available for the right candidate to increase this based on performance and ability to pick up additional tasks.
