About the Client:

Our client is delivering a major semiconductor (ESMC) project in Dresden, specialising in the installation of mechanical and piping works within a highly technical and regulated environment.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor (Piping) to oversee on-site mechanical and piping installation works for a large-scale ESMC project. The role involves supervising daily site activities, supporting site personnel, managing materials, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

A strong piping background is essential, and experience within regulated or high-tech environments (pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or similar) is highly desirable. German language skills are preferred but not essential, as English is required for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for supervising on-site mechanical and piping installation works
• Oversee piping installation and associated mechanical systems
• Support and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
• Ensure all materials are available, tracked, and correctly used on site
• Assist in coordinating building and mechanical works on site
• Ensure works are carried out in line with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards
• Monitor site progress and report updates to project management
• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Piping Supervisor
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical and piping installations
• Strong background in piping systems and mechanical works
• Experience working on semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated industry projects (preferred)
• Ability to supervise subcontractors and site personnel effectively
• Strong understanding of site safety, quality, and compliance standards
• German-speaking (preferred), English required
• Proactive, well-organised, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment

Contract Details:

• Location: On-site in Dresden, Germany
• Start Date: July 13th
• Duration: 2 years
• Hours: 5 days per week, approximately 50 hours per week
• Rate: Competitive freelance rate based on experience and qualifications
