A friendly and inclusive primary school in Leek (ST13) is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026 .
Working alongside experienced teachers and school leaders, you'll gain invaluable classroom experience, develop essential teaching skills and build the confidence needed to progress into teacher training and a wide range of education-based careers.

* Convenient Leek (ST13) location What You'll Be Doing As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will: * Support teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum.
* Deliver targeted literacy, numeracy and phonics interventions to individuals and small groups.
* Provide personalised 1:1 support for pupils who require additional guidance.
* Support pupils with a range of learning needs, helping to remove barriers to learning and maximise their progress.
* Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, resilience and independence.
* Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation and the creation of engaging learning resources.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents to support outstanding outcomes.
* Help create a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment where every child can thrive. What We're Looking For To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need: * A 2:1 degree or above (or be predicted to achieve one).
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* The right to work full-time in the UK. Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
