Commercial Underwriter

As a Commercial Underwriter you will:
* Drive regional growth by hitting income, profit and performance targets
* Manage a portfolio of broker accounts, balancing strong relationships with commercial discipline
* Underwrite new business, renewals and mid-term changes within agreed authority levels
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with key brokers to strengthen market presence
* Deliver against premium and loss ratio targets while keeping an eye on long-term profitability
* Ensure all documentation, surveys and reporting are accurate and up to date
* Review cases to maintain underwriting quality and consistency As a Commercial Underwriter you will have: * At least 2 years' experience in commercial underwriting or broking
* Strong track record of managing and growing broker relationships
* Confident negotiator with a sharp eye for risk and pricing
* Commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth and profitability
* Consistent delivery against targets and objectives
* Comfortable working across teams in a collaborative environment
* Solid understanding of the insurance market and trading dynamics As a Commercial Underwriter you will get: * Salary circa £60,000
