Class 2 Driver - Chesterfield
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver in the Chesterfield area for ongoing trunking work with a company delivering ambient and chilled food products.
Job Details:
- Ongoing work available
- 5:30am start time
- Handball involved using a pump truck
- Delivering ambient and chilled food products
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Duties:
- Carrying out relevant vehicle safety and maintenance checks, including temperature checks
- Adhering to all relevant driver legislation and company policies
- Unloading goods safely, taking care not to damage products and placing them in the customer's designated area where possible
- Ensuring the vehicle is left safe and secure whilst making deliveries
- Taking full responsibility for the vehicle and goods carried throughout the working day
