Accounts Payable Assistant
FT Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client , as they look to add an Accounts Payable Assistant to their team at this time of growth. This is an office based, full time position, based in Aberdeen, and would be joining a welcoming team and positive environment!
Main duties include:
• Posting invoices
• Verifying correct coding
• Processing changes in master data with proper authorization
• Handling AP-related questions from external suppliers and internal entities
• Assisting with month-end close duties
• Any other tasks as necessary
Suitable candidates should have the following:
• Previous relevant experience in a similar role
• Experience with Xero software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
